1963: Hotel bought by Mr. and Mrs. ROCHEDY
Son of hoteliers in Ardèche, Michel Rochedy served his culinary apprenticeship with André Pic in Valence.

1978: Enlarged hotel premises awarded a 3-star rating.

1979: Michel ROCHEDY receives accolades major food guides. Raised to rank of Maître cuisinier de France in 1983. Member of Eurotoques since 1988. Awarded the French Silver Medal of Tourism in 1996.

1988: Creation of the famous chef’s table in the kitchen of the Chabichou

In the same year, the Chabichou facade is given a facelift.

2002: Complete refurbishment of the restaurant and reception area, and the opening of a Spa to ensure you feel even more at ease. The introduction of Chabiforme Stays, combining dietetics with culinary delights, reflects a trend towards well-being and rejuvenation.
